Freshman Beau Smith is most commonly known for being smart, athletic, and musically inclined, but he has another talent that many may not know about: tae-kwon-do.

   In only 2 1/2 years, Smith has achieved a third degree black belt in his six years in the sport. He has worked hard to overcome many personal and physical challenges throughout his journey, but in the end, it all paid off.
